A true story
Monday, October 14, 2013

A hawksbill turtle got stranded in a watermelon field on Monday morning in Mayaro.

According to Miguel Mohammed, his brother Devon Dhanessar discovered the turtle in their field around 7am Monday.

He and his brother gathered sea water to keep the turtle cool.

The turtle appeared to have made landfall late Sunday night and lost its way back to sea.
