Prestige shares down by $0.10

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which six advanced, two declined and four traded firm.

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 23,447 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued a $1,088,196.53. Republic Financial Holdings Limited was the volume leader with 6,099 shares changing hands for a value of $632,314.93, followed by Trinidad Cement Limited with a volume of 5,926 shares being traded for $16,296.50. JMMB Group Limited contributed 2,941 shares with a value of $4,940.88, while T&T NGL Limited added 2,525 shares valued at $73,356.50.

The West Indian Tobacco Company Limited egistered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.25 to end the day at $87.85. Conversely, Prestige Holdings Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.10 to close at $9.40.

Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 1,500 shares valued a $29,968.08. It declined by $0.01 to end at $19.98.

In Tuesday’s trading session the following reflect the movement of the TTSE Indices:

• The Composite Index advanced by 0.81 points (0.07 per cent) to close at 1,219.68.

• The All T&T Index advanced by 0.93 points (0.06 per cent) to close at 1,689.70.

• The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.09 points (0.09 per cent) to close at 100.79.
